Recreation 

Boats must be inspected for Quagga mussels, before being allowed on the lakes.  This year (2023) there will be an inspection and verification station right at Twin Lakes.  IF your boat has been in quagga infested water it WILL NOT be allowed at Twin Lakes.

There will be a charge of $15.00 for motorized watercraft over 10' and $5.00 for non motorized watercraft under 10'.

NOTE: This may change: May 19- Sept. 11, 2023   Boat launching hours are: for the month of May 19-June 11, 2023  7am to 7pm.  From June 12th -Aug. 13th, 2023 6:30 am to 9:30pm.     From Aug 14th - Sept. 11, 2023 7am to 7pm.

NO watercraft with ballast compartments or bladders are allowed on the lakes, (even if they are sealed off).

It has excellent bass and trout fishing as well as boating and water skiing. Many come just to camp and enjoy the serenity of the area.

Twin Lakes is one of the most popular recreation sites in Southeast Idaho located approximately 15 miles Northwest of Preston Idaho.

Condie Reservoir: only up to 10 HP watercraft will be allowed on Condie and will need to be inspected at inspection station.

Winder Reservoir: NO watercraft is allowed.

Camping Season: 2023 May 19th thru September 11th 2023- 57 sites available -

Day use $5.00 Toilets and garbage service is available.

There is no water or electricity available.

If you want to make reservations, they must be made at least 5 days before your planned arrival. After that, sites will be available on a first come first serve basis.

Reservations cancelled 2 weeks prior to scheduled event will have there camping fee refunded but not the $10.00 reservation fee. If less than 2 weeks no money will be refunded.
